I found your blog through James Lyle on learnwake.com…Nice video!!! Me and my crew are looking into buying a nice DSLR camera that can also shoot quality HD video. Do you have any suggestions? What do you all use?
We were thinking of getting a Canon T2i to use from the boat (its not waterproof) and a Panasonic DMC-TS1 for shots from the tube. Any help you can give me is much appreciated! Thank you for your time.

Hi Tim, we used the Canon 5d mark ii on that video, it does great but really could use a 60fps video mode. Stabilizing it is tough too, we had it on a tripod for most of the riding shots. I’ve heard great things about the Canon 7d and I think the one you mentioned has the 60fps option as well. You will be amazed at the video when paired with good lenses!
